France Télévisions Polynésie is the organizer of FIFO. This television station has mandated the FIFO Association, chaired by Wallès Kotra, to stage the event (coordination, partnerships, communication, accommodation, transport, etc.). RFO continues to promote and publicise the event on the air through clips, special programmes and the RFO television news.

Te Fare Tauhiti Nui / Maison de la Culture is responsible for hosting the Festival Village, logistical support and provision of staff and other technical support.

Le Service du Patrimoine Archivistique et Audiovisuel (SPAA) also provides technical support for the preselection and editing of screenings and the management and archiving of FIFO films through the ‘FIFO Collection'.

Heiva Nui provides technical and financial support for the decoration of the Festival Village and screening venues, organisation of opening and prize-giving ceremonies, functions and receptions.
