Welcome
FIFO Tahiti aims to become the most important documentary film event in the Pacific region. Our priority is to depict the lives we live in this part of the world. This vision of the Pacific is the one that audio-visual professionals are invited to come and share.
You will find below the documentation needed to enter your films in the Festival (entry form and Agreement letter) as well as the Festival Regulations.
Important dates :
- Avril 2010: Announcements for professionals - entries begin
- 1st October 2010: Entries completed - preselection starts
- 15 November 2010: Announcement of official selection
- 24 January 2011: Festival begins
Professional area
A dedicated meeting venue for professionals will be available in the Muriavai Room at the Maison de la Culture ( Te Fare Tauhiti Nui ) during the festival.
Both this room and the terrace overlooking Papeete Harbour will be reserved for accredited audiovisual professionals, so as to facilitate meetings for developing joint projects. It will feature televisions, tape players and Internet terminals as well as a mini-bar. It will be open daily from 8.30 am to 4 pm (local time).
A Festival programm will be published, containing full contact details for all the professionals attending the Festival. This information will be constantly updated throughout the 3 days of the festival.
Professional Accreditation
A "Professional" accreditation is necessary to gain access to this privileged area.
