Returning from the Second World War, the Hawaiian Pinky Thompson devoted his time and energy to his archipelagos social services. His lifelong work was aimed at improving the living conditions of children and help Hawaiians take their place in local and American society. He embodied a new spirit, a firm commitment without respite. Pinky, a peaceful activist, defended his Hawaiian identity, his people and his culture. He brought to life a new generation of leaders of the country. A true portrait of a committed Pacific island national.
