Olohega, a small, idyllic Pacific Island, north of Samoa and traditionally part of Tokelau, was "bought" by a whaling captain for a bottle of gin and 15 shillings an acre and later annexed to the United States. The former inhabitants of Olohega were evicted from their island home almost 60 years ago, and long to return, and to see the return of Olohega to Tokelau. This is their story.
