On the Northern coast of Oahu Island, in the archipelago of Hawaii, the planet’s most impressive and most dangerous waves form over several kilometres. Each year, they attract thousands of surfers from all over the world in search of thrills. Local surfers, inhabitants of the Northern coast, feel invaded by these crowds which at the same time signify disorder.
In reaction, they have formed a clan: the Hui o Hée Nalu, the Black Shorts.
