One surfs around the world on a surfboard. The other welcomes surfers from the whole world in Tahiti. Michel Bourez and Raimana Van Bastolaer: two Polynesian surfers, two friends, two visions of the discipline and the same passion: surfing. Thanks to Michel, a future competitor, we will discover the world of professional surfing and its ranking law. With Raimana, a model and local intermediary for Tahitian and other surfers, we will discover another philosophy of this sport…

FIFO 2010

In Tahiti, in French Polynesia, the seventh edition of the Pacific International Documentary Film Festival (FIFO Tahiti) will take place from Tuesday 26th to Sunday 31st January 2010 at the Maison de la Culture in Papeete. This event is open to all those who have produced a documentary in Oceania over the last three years. The entry closing date is 1st October 2009. An international jury will present the jury grand prix and three special jury prizes. These prizes will incorporate a financial award.
